Hello, I support that The Bible continues to be allowed in schools as it has been, likely since schools started in this country. This is part of having freedom of religion in this free country called the United States of America. This is not China nor is it Cuba. If the bible is banned, Bible-believing students will be ostracized or have disciplinary actions placed against them should they have the Bible in their possession in schools. This is a form of persecution. Genuine and sincere questions: 1. If the Bible is taken away, does that mean that Bible-based clubs won't be allowed in schools either? If so, that would be a huge disservice to the students who are part of these bible-based clubs and love to go. If this leads to bible clubs being banned as well, this will prevent students who want to learn about the God of the Bible from having access to these clubs. 2. If the Bible is taken away, does this also mean that students will not be able to talk about God or the Bible in schools? If so, then freedom of speech is being affected. Banning the Bible from any public place is what happens in communist countries. Hitler banned Bibles because of the rich Hebrew history it contains. The Bible is a proven history book regardless of many that want to deny this. Banning the Bible is a push for communism. Banning the Bible is a form of discrimination. There are students from all backgrounds who believe in the Bible. It is a slippery slope that will be hard to come back from should the Bible get banned. Please do not ban this. In high school, I started a Bible club in school as a 16 year old and I had friends and students that came to this club to hear more about the Bible and God. It was a great experience having students seek the God of the Bible and want to learn more of what the Bible says. Thank you
