    Namaste. My name is Ram Tewari. I am a Hindu and have been resident of Broward County since 1988. My son had attended Broward County Public Schools. My family supports Option #2 which has October 20, 2025 as Day Off. Our broader Hindu American Community (Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, and Others) will appreciate this decision. We know that the Board is a proponent of diversity and culture. and this will be the great enhancment in that direction. .With an attitude of gratitude, American Hindu Community sincerely appreciates your decision for the resolution about proclaming October as Hindu Heritage Month. .
