VOTE NO!
Do not reduce Advisory/Committee chairs' reporting from monthly to quarterly. These individuals play a vital role in amplifying the voices of our students and families by raising community concerns and offering thoughtful recommendations. Silencing them, or limiting their ability to speak, undermines the very purpose of these committees.
Issues arise in real time, and waiting three months to address them is simply not acceptable. Let the chairs report monthly if they choose to. If some prefer to report quarterly, that’s fine, but it should be their choice, not a restriction.
Let’s respect their leadership and purpose .
Respectfully,
Melissa C Ramos
ACE-Autism Committee Chair
